Next 'steaming' 14 March

The news still isn't good.  The boiler is continuing to undergo repairs.  Grounds open as per normal Sunday hours.

We are dissappointed as it is the Heritage & Roses weekend and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Next 'steaming' 21 February.

Our very old boiler is still experiences difficulties and will not be able to 'steam' our engines.  The grounds and Pumphouse Museum will be open normal Sunday hours which are 10am-4pm.

Next 'steaming' 24 January

 

If you are planning a visit to the Waterworks on 24 January please call 4823 4448 or 4823 4492 to confirm that the engines will be 'steaming'.  The boiler is experiences difficulties and may not be able to operate.  Either way the grounds and Pumphouse Cafe will be open.

The Waterworks won 1st prize in the Lilac time Commercial Garden Competition and received a certificate and a $50 gift voucher.  Well done to the Waterworks and We Love Goulburn volunteers!

 

The inaugural Twilight Steaming on 3 October was a success even with the rain and wind!

 

Waterworks staff and volunteers recently visited the Powerhouse Museum and were enthralled with an up close personal tour of the Boulton & Watt Beam Engine.  Most of the engines were steaming and we had a chance to discuss with staff ways in which we can engage our audience.

 

The Goulburn Classic Riders Club enjoyed a day at the Waterworks recently.  Around 50 bikes converged on the site which made a fanastic spectical for all.
